512nd post on this amazing blog. Blog gist will augur seeding. As blog tries to place teams by accurate parameters & teams who play with heart. Site called bracketaday.blogspot.com but not 1, but 5 brackets for march madness, nit, basketball crown, cbi & basketball classic which used to be called cit. Yet called bracketaday.blogspot.com due to technically 1 mm bracket daily plus other 4 tourneys I seed. Try my best to place teams by seeding (march madness & nit only) & location (march madness, nit & basketball classic).
Today I am listing 8 teams who made march madness elite 8 telling how they did & give little humor for some of those teams. Readers of this site, I hope u agree with my description of telling how they did.
Duke Blue Devils.
Hacked by Huskies at Washington D.C.. Cameron Boozer, who i believe must be 1st pick at draft, did well, despite their loss, womens team who was ACC womens tournament winner was defeated by Bruins to possess 27 to 9 record after march madness game as 3 seed at elite 8.
Arizona Wildcats.
Punished Purdue at San Jose. Koa Peat was phenomenal, womens team had 12 to 18 record after a failed season by 1st year coach Burke & Big XII womens tournament winner WVU at march madness round Of 32 lost to Kentucky Wildcats to have 28 to 7 record after game as 4 seed.
Mich Wolverines.
Tossed Tennessee at Chicago. They did well throughout showdown, womens team who's 2 seed at march madness was passed by Longhorns for elite 8 to have 28 to 7 record after L.
UConn Huskies.
Defeated Duke at slim win. Tarris Reed did pure & womens team who's Big East womens tournament winner had 38 to 0 record as 1 seed at march madness after defeating Notre Dame at elite 8.
Purdue Boilermakers.
Walloped by Wildcats at San Jose. Trey Kaufman Renn did stupid due to referees getting him in foul trouble & womens team less than mens, possessing 13 to 17 record to end season.
Illinois Fighting Illini.
Ignited Iowa during duel. They move on to final 4 & womens team had 22 to 12 record after losing to Commodores at round Of 32 Of march madness as 7 seed.
Tennessee Volunteers.
Walloped by Wolverines during duel. Rick did poorly in the battle but at season did excellently to prove he should have lifetime contract with his school & womens team lost duel at big dance as 10 seed at round Of 64 to NC St Wolfpack ending with 16 to 14 record.
Iowa Hawkeyes.
Fumbled against Fighting Illini that game. 1st year coach McCollum failed & womens team was defeated by Cavaliers at march madness round Of 32 for 27 to 7 record after game as 2 seed.
footnotes.
For my seeds, here's format to decipher them. I'll briefly explain. Going for march madness, each # corresponds to overall tournament seed. E.g., 1.-> 1 overall march madness seed. Going for nit, each # which is 16 & over corresponds to overall tournament seed but each Unseeded Team has no #s attached. E.g., 1. -> 1 overall nit seed while Unseeded Team doesn't -> any #. Going for basketball crown, each basketball crown # usually corresponds to teams with winning record at 2025 through 2026 season & will have 2 teams from Big XII, 2 teams from Big East & 2 teams from Big 10 while also including potpourri Of other conferences at division 1. E.g. 4. would be team with fine winning record at conference alphabetically near top Of alphabet & 7. would be team with membership at conference alphabetically below above conferences. Going for cbi, each cbi # usually corresponds to teams with winning record at 2025 through 2026 season & will have lots Of teams at American Conference, A 10, ACC, Big XII, Big East, Big 10, C USA, Mountain West & SEC at college basketball. E.g., 4. would be team with fine winning record at conference alphabetically near top Of alphabet & 9. would be team with membership at conference alphabetically below above conferences. Going for basketball classic, each # usually corresponds to conference alphabetically. E.g., 5. would be team with best winning record remaining at conference alphabetically near top Of alphabet & 16. would be team with fine record at conference alphabetically below teams above it & there won't be any teams which come from American Conference, A 10, ACC, Big XII, Big East, Big 10, C USA, Mountain West & SEC because these conferences don't participate in basketball classic. Use footnotes when u're trying to decipher my seeding above. That's my tips. I followed the rules with regard to march madness & nit seeding & march madness, nit, cbi & basketball classic location. So be fine with reading my # lists for 4 tournaments at d1.
