Today I am listing 68 teams who made march madness, telling how they did & give little humor for some of those teams. Readers of this site, I hope u agree with my description of telling how they did.
UConn Huskies.
Defeated Stetson for amazing win. That will help Dan Hurley, Tristen Newton & the rest Of the team continue their run to go back to to back as championship winners at march madness, womens team is in womens march madness where at round Of 64 they were 3 seed tossing Jackson St & after game had 30 to 5 record.
Houston Cougars.
Defeated Longwood. We'll see if Cougars win their 1st championship at mens march madness & womens team finished with 14 to 16 record but they have bright future ahead Of them with Ronald Hughey as their coach so once Cougars get womens basketball players that are fine & skilled, they'll be able to make a dent in the Big XII so they can become regulars at march madness womens tourney.
Purdue Boilermakers.
Got by Grambling St 3/22. Their players like Edey played fine & womens team thus went to the wnit where they had close win at wnit 1st round against mighty Butler to after game, maintain a 14 to 18 record.
North Carolina Tarheels.
Humiliated Wagner for another Of Tarheels' many ncaa tournament wins through history. Armando Bacot & his posse had fine afternoon during this event & womens team who has sexy Deja Kelly won 59 to 56 at their womens march madness round Of 64 showdown as an 8 seed against Mich St at game to have 20 to 12 record immediately after.
Tennessee Volunteers.
Eviscerated St Peter's, a team Kentucky couldn't beat 2 years ago, at march madness game. They are hoping to go far at ncaa tournament with coach Rick lead them & womens team therefore emerged victorious at womens march madness round Of 64 as 6 seed to have 20 to 12 record immediately after that game against Wisconsin Green Bay.
Arizona Wildcats.
Crushed Long Beach St but cool that committee put Dan Monson & Tommy Lloyd at game since Dan Monson brought Tommy Lloyd as grad assistant while Dan Monson was at Gonzaga though Tommy Lloyd isn't part Of Dan Monson's coaching tree. They look to extend their stay at Salt Lake City & womens team fought against Auburn at 11 seed play in before falling to Orange to have 18 to 16 final record.
Marquette Golden Eagles.
Did fine when facing Western KY. With players like Oso Ighodaro they certainly were able to garrote Western KY that game & womens team played against Ole Miss at South Bend during womens march madness round Of 64 as 10 seed to lose the game, screwed my womens bracket as i had Golden Eagles beating not just Ole Miss but also Notre Dame to advance to sweet 16 as Golden Eagles had bigs who i thought would be able to score at will against their opponents at womens march madness & Marquette finished with 23 to 9 record.
Iowa St Cyclones.
Won against South Dakota St but it was cool that selection committee put Otzelberger & Eric Henderson at game since Otzelberger once coached Jackrabbits. Now they are happy they won & womens team went on to defeat Maryland to have 21 to 11 record (which was surprising they won as Bill Fennelly chokes many times in womens march madness) after their womens march madness round Of 64 game when Cyclones were 7 seed.
Baylor Bears.
Thus Bears triumphed over Colgate that showdown. That game featured fine plays from Yves Missi while Bears thus took their basketball duel & womens team as 5 seed at womens march madness dueled Vanderbilt at round Of 64 to go on to win, having 25 to 7 record after game completed.
Creighton Bluejays.
They triumphed over Akron at battle Of midwest teams. Ryan & his posse therefore jabbed Akron to move on to round Of 32 this postseason & womens team won against UNLV to have 26 to 5 record after game ended while they were 7 seed at march madness round Of 64 so yeah for them.
Kentucky Wildcats.
Devastating upset loss where Kentucky fell to Golden Grizzlies 3/21. Very sad for their unknowledgeable fans, Coach Calipari needs to resign this offseason as this frequency Of losses to underwhelming teams has been ongoing pattern, like earlier in the season when they lost to 1 bid conference team UNCW Seahawks, for the men in blue & womens team had horrible record Of 12 to 20 therefore firing Kyra Elzy as coach.
Illinois Fighting Illini.
Had win against Morehead St 3/21. People across Chicago were jubilant that their beloved Fighting Illini won & womens team had 15 to 15 record after defeating Missouri St at comeback victory at wbit 1st round while Fighting Illini womens definitely had fine win this year when they beat Indiana at Urbana Champaign, Big 10 womens tournament winner Hawkeyes was 1 seed at womens march madness who triumphed at their round Of 64 game against Holy Cross to have 30 to 4 record after game ended.
Duke Blue Devils.
Triumphed over America East side Vermont. Cool for Kyle Filipowski & womens team won against Richmond when Blue Devils was 7 seed at womens march madness round Of 64 to have 21 to 11 record after that showdown so it's cool Kara Lawson was able to be in that game.
Kansas Jayhawks.
They went on to triumph 93 to 89 against Samford for another 1 Of Bill Self's march madness victories. That was cool for their legion Of fans to see & womens team won their womens march madness round Of 64 game against Mich at battle Of teams who are normally fine at both mens basketball & womens basketball proving Schneider is fine coach so after Jayhawks won as womens march madness 8 seed, they immediately had 20 to 12 record.
Auburn Tigers.
With emphatic Bruce Pearl, Tigers lost to Yale in what was 1 Of the biggest kenpom upsets this ncaa tournament 3/22. The Tigers cats lost against the Bulldogs dogs & womens team lost 69 to 59 by 10 points when they were placed at 11 seed playin game against Arizona Wildcats during march madness so they finished with 20 to 12 record.
Alabama Crimson Tide.
So 3/22 they jabbed Charleston ok. That was fine for them & womens team won at round Of 64 duel against Florida St when Crimson Tide was 8 seed at womens march madness so they have 24 to 9 record.
San Diego St Aztecs.
They won against UAB that game. People across San Diego were thrilled after that game & womens team had their season come to an end on 3/13 so they finished with 22 to 13 record so i ask what will this California team do next year.
Wisconsin Badgers.
Lost to Dukes which was sad for their ginormous fanbase. The red w faced off & played very poorly dueling James Madison & womens team had overcoming against Southern Indiana at 1st round Of wnit to have 14 to 16 record after Badger's victory.
St Mary's Gaels.
During their game against Grand Canyon, they stunk to make Randy Bennett angry for their play. It was cool audiences got to see Aidan Mahaney & womens team had 1st year head coach Jeff Cammon (who so it's cool he as a black person got the opportunity to be a head coach) so while they were transitioning to his new system they finished with 13 to 18 record this year & West Coast Conference womens tournament winner Pilots fell in their womens march madness round Of 64 game when Pilots were 13 seed to Kansas St Wildcats with Ayoka Lee as 1 Of their dominant players to have Pilots finish with 21 to 13 record.
Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Crushed McNeese St that game. They are looking like a top tier contender most Of these last several showdowns & womens team went to womens march madness as 4 seed when at round Of 64 they were defeating UC Irvine to have 31 to 3 record as Bulldogs can definitely make womens elite 8 if they put their minds to it.
BYU Cougars.
Got devastating loss to Duquesne Dukes to send them packing to Provo sadly. This was something which saw BYU fans be upset as they have not been this sad since their 4th wife refused to make them a sandwich & womens team underachieved as they lost to Santa Clara Broncos in wbit 1st round to make BYU finish with 16 to 17 record.
Clemson Tigers.
They triumphed against New Mexico for spectacular moment. They won despite being betting underdogs that game & womens team finished with 12 to 19 record.
Texas Tech Red Raiders.
To Wolfpack, they lost. But i predicted they'd lose as Texas Tech had a losing record last year & teams who enter march madness with losing record the previous year tend to lose at round Of 64 that year thus not shocking they lost & womens team finished with 17 to 16 record.
South Carolina Gamecocks.
Had loss to Ducks. That was sad for their squad & womens team as 1 seed at womens march madness, at round Of 64, beat Presbyterian to maintain 33 to 0 record which was cool for Ashlyn Watkins & her posse.
Florida Gators.
They had defeat to Buffs which wasn't shocking when i thought about it as foe would have been kenpom favorite against Florida since Buffaloes were higher on his metrics than Florida was. That was sad for Gainesville to witness & womens team lost to Red Storm at 1st round Of wbit thus ending season at 16 to 16 record but Gators don't really lose since they have Todd Golden & Kelly Finley who are both sexy as their basketball coaches.
Washington St Cougars.
Thus won their 1st mens march madness game since 2008 as Kyle Smith & team are story i find inspiring to the college basketball world. Cool they won hoops game, womens team triumphed at wbit 1st round against Lamar to improve to 19 to 14 record after that game & sad Washington St hasn't nabbed womens march madness victory but they'll eventually get a womens march madness accomplishment in future.
Texas Longhorns.
They won convincingly against Colorado St that showdown. Meaning Max Abmas will have opportunity to score more points to add to his career total, womens team subjugated Drexel at womens march madness where Longhorns were 1 seed to improve to 31 to 4 record after that round Of 64 game against Drexel that day & sexy Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda played well for them at regular season.
Dayton Flyers.
Anthony Grant finally did it; he won his 1st game at march madness as Flyers coach. That's something which was feeling Dayton missed in 2020 due to coronavirus cancelling ncaa tournament so hooray for Anthony for having opportunity 3/21 & womens team had poor season finishing with 12 to 19 record but Tamika Williams Jeter has them on the right track, partially thanks to off court support Of her husband, as their coach.
Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Nebraska futility continues as they lose yet another ncaa tournament game. It's getting humiliating for the men in red to be so bad once the 3rd week Of march rolls around & womens team narrowly beat Texas A&M at womens march madness round Of 64 when Cornhuskers were 6 seed to improve to 23 to 11 record when game ended so that's good.
Utah St Aggies.
Aggies decided to breakthrough when they went out & had their 1st march madness win since 2001 which was splendid. That was cool for Logan team & womens team had horrendous season finishing with 5 to 25 record as they had coach Kayla Ard announce her own firing.
FAU Owls.
That was nailbiting loss for FAU that afternoon however audience was booing most plays that went not in favor Of FAU ok. Meaning they head home & womens team finished with 11 to 19 record yet i believe coach Sullivan can get them on track due to FAU's growing reputation as univ & Owls will eventually get to turn into regular winner each season at womens basketball to definitely make Boca Raton proud.
MS St Bulldogs.
Got double digit loss to Mich St Spartans. That was disappointing to see & womens team beat Georgia Tech at wbit 1st round to improve to 22 to 11 record so 1 team from MS St got basketball triumph.
Mich St Spartans.
They had triumph over MS St since Izzo continued to slay at big dance. Was cool for fans, thus Detroit was happy Spartans finished on top & womens team was 9 seed who lost at womens march madness round Of 64 to Tarheels so Mich St finished with 22 to 9 record.
Texas A&M Aggies.
They had accomplishment over Nebraska 3/22 so that was cool. I know Buzz Williams was happy about game, womens team lost at womens march madness to Cornhuskers to finish with 19 to 13 record this year as Texas A&M was 11 seed at round Of 64 & despite Gary Blair retiring recently, coach Joni Taylor has Aggies on the right path.
TCU Horned Frogs.
Lost to Utah St Aggies, proves they shouldn't have been in tournament & was hilarious to see team which played nonconference strength Of schedule roughly 328 play so bad when real team dueled Ft Worth college as TCU lost 88 to 72 by 16 points. That capped off season for Horned Frogs, womens team had 21 to 11 record after beating North Texas at wbit 1st round during battle Of Arlington region teams & i believe their hoops programs are in good hands with Jamie Dixon & Mark Campbell as head Of mens team & womens team respectively since i respect both Jamie & Mark as play callers.
Northwestern Wildcats.
Victory at game to go 3 to 0 at round Of 64 games at their history so u've got to give kudos to Wildcats for fact. They played well for undermanned team & womens team finished with 9 to 21 record which stunk thus i hope Wildcats do better next year at womens basketball.
Nevada Wolf Pack.
They had lead against Dayton but blew it to lose 63 to 60. That was terrible for their fans, as that proves Mountain West is shitty in basketball, to witness 3/21 & womens team finished season with 16 to 16 record meaning they were average this year.
Boise St Broncos.
Lost at play in to Buffaloes 60 to 53 as that proves Mountain West is shitty in basketball, to be honest. Yet Boise St still hasn't won mens march madness game & womens team finished with 21 to 14 record after losing at Grizzlies during wnit 1st round showdown.
Colorado Buffaloes.
Beat Boise St & Florida since Florida win was expected if u saw kenpom b4 3/22 started because Buffs were bit higher on kenpom than Florida was. That was cool for Buffaloes & their player who's top 5 nba draft pick this year, womens team had 23 to 9 record after beating Drake at womens march madness round Of 64 when Buffaloes were 5 seed & i definitely think Ralphie trainers are happy her school won womens march madness game.
Virginia Cavaliers.
Got humiliated in play in & proves they shouldn't have been in tournament. The reasoning to put Cavaliers in over Pitt looks stupid as despite Pitt having weak nonconference strength Of schedule this year Panthers had better net & quality metrics, womens team had 16 to 15 record immediately after beating High Point at 1st round Of wbit & they have bright future with Amaka Agugua Hamilton leading the womens team into battle since i hope she & her husband can get Cavaliers back to being regular national contenders.
Colorado St Rams.
They won against Virginia but lost against swagtastic Max Abmas & his Longhorns so that's that. That was average for team, womens team finished with 20 to 11 record this year but i'm shocked Colorado St didn't choose to play at a womens tournament besides womens march madness considering history Of program & womens team had great player Becky Hammon on the court.
Drake Bulldogs.
Lost proving they should have swapped places with Antelopes for 12 seed. That was stupid as it falls entirely on the players for losing game, i wish Darian Devries good luck at WVU Mountaineers & womens team finished with 29 to 6 record after losing to Buffaloes at womens march madness round Of 64 when the Iowa small Missouri Valley college was 12 seed.
New Mexico Lobos.
They got humiliated by Clemson Tigers at their round Of 64 game as that proves Mountain West is shitty in basketball, to be honest. Got outplayed at each facet Of the game & womens team finished with 21 to 11 record while being 2 seed at Mountain West tourney & Mountain West womens tournament winner UNLV Rebels had 30 to 3 record after losing to Bluejays at womens march madness round Of 64 when UNLV was 10 seed.
Oregon Ducks.
They upset South Carolina this showdown. It was good for Dana Altman who will transition into Big 10 next year but his Ducks team has good present, womens team finished with 11 to 21 record, i hope Kelly Graves is able to go fix his team's problems so he doesn't get fired & Pac 12 womens tournament winner USC Trojans beat Texas A&M Corpus Christi to have 27 to 5 record after they won at womens march madness round Of 64.
NC St Wolfpack.
They won against Texas Tech to help keep coach Kevin Keatts job intact & Raleigh celebrating win. Thus DJ Burns played well during that tournament game, womens team had 28 to 6 record after beating Tennessee Chattanooga at march madness round Of 64 when Wolfpack was 3 seed & coach Wes Moore still has it after all these years to have 28 to 6 record after game ended & ACC womens tournament winner Fighting Irish had 27 to 6 record after beating Kent St at womens march madness when Fighting Irish was 2 seed at round Of 64.
Duquesne Dukes.
They upset BYU despite being overseeded as 11 seed instead Of 13 seed. That was fine for coach who's in his last year before he retires, womens team had 21 to 12 record after beating bordering state Monmouth at wnit 1st round & A 10 womens tournament winner Spiders had 29 to 6 record after losing at round Of 64 Of womens march madness to Duke Blue Devils when Spiders were 10 seed.
Grand Canyon Antelopes.
Won proving they should have swapped places with Bulldogs for 10 seed. That was great for Phoenix institution that they were able to get their 1st ever march madness win, womens team finished with 24 to 8 record, their coach Molly Miller will be able to lead them toward happiness & WAC womens tournament winner Cal Baptist Lancers who made its 1st ever womens march madness to get slotted for 15 seed finished with 28 to 4 record after losing at womens march madness round Of 64 to UCLA Bruins.
James Madison Dukes.
They won over Wisconsin to get their 4th ever march madness win. That was great for party school to have, womens team finished with 23 to 12 record after losing at 1st round Of wbit to a team who was at conference they used to being aka Coastal in Stony Brook Seawolves & Sun Belt womens tournament winner Thundering Herd faced Hokies when Marshall was 13 seed at womens march madness round Of 64 who fell to finish season with 26 to 7 record.
McNeese St Cowboys.
Shellacking loss to Gonzaga Bulldogs. That ended very good season for Cowboys, womens team finished their season with 6 to 25 record, Lynn Kennedy should have better season as womens coach next year & Southland womens tournament winner Islanders was 16 seed who lost at womens march madness round Of 64 to USC Trojans & JuJu Watkins to finish season with 23 to 9 record.
UAB Blazers.
Lost to defending runner ups Aztecs. That was sad for Jelly Walker, Texas Legends player, to witness, womens team lost to Southern MS Golden Eagles at wnit to finish season with 18 to 14 record & AAC womens tournament winner lost to LSU Tigers when Rice was 14 seed to finish with 19 to 15 record.
Vermont Catamounts.
Lost close game to Duke Blue Devils 3/22. Eventually John Becker will win round Of 64 game, womens team had 23 to 11 record after beating Niagara at wnit, womens team for Vermont obviously did worse from last year when Catamounts made womens ncaa tourney & America East womens tournament winner Maine lost to Buckeyes at womens march madness round Of 64 when Maine was 15 seed to finish season at 24 to 10.
Yale Bulldogs.
Created massive upset by beating Auburn 3/22 since that was 1 Of biggest kenpom upsets Of march madness this year due to Auburn being 4 in the country at kenpom 3/19 before upset. That was strange occurrence from Ivy League which only sent 1 team this year to ncaa tournament, womens team had 8 to 19 record, Ivy League womens tournament winner Princeton lost to WVU Mountaineers at womens march madness round Of 64 when Princeton was 9 seed to finish season with 25 to 5 record & Ivy League at large Columbia Lions (since Ivy League did rare feat Of not sending just 1 squad to womens march madness) lost to Commodores when both were 11 seed in play in to finish with 23 to 7 record.
Samford Bulldogs.
They were at close game against Jayhawks before succumbing, as i had predicted Samford wasn't going to win as they played at 1 Of the fastest paces in the country as playing at fast pace doesn't bode well for march madness wins, that game. Really cool for Bucky McMillan to be at tight showdown against 1 Of the sport's blue bloods, womens team finished with 14 to 16 record & Southern Conference womens tournament winner Tennessee Chattanooga lost to NC St Wolfpack when Mocs were 14 seed at womens march madness round Of 64 to fall to 28 to 5 record & they later had their coach Shawn Poppie taken away by them when Clemson Tigers hired him to replace their fired coach.
Charleston Cougars.
Sadly lost to Crimson Tide which sucks for Charleston fans but Pat Kelsey continues to excel at coaching since he could take Musketeers (his alma mater) job if Pat Kelsey decides to quit his current Louisville Cardinals job. It was cool Cougars made back to back tournaments for the private univ, womens team had 22 to 9 record after beating USC Upstate at wnit very recently & Coastal womens tournament winner Dragons had 19 to 15 record after making womens march madness as 16 seed before losing to Longhorns at round Of 64.
Oakland Golden Grizzlies.
Built 1 Of the biggest upsets at march madness this year by defeating Kentucky at round Of 64, cool for Trey Townsend & his posse to have & that upset will generate a lot Of revenue for univ in future. Fine for them they won, womens team had 12 to 17 record as final for the season & Horizon League womens tournament winner Wisconsin Green Bay Phoenix was 11 seed at womens march madness where they were trendy upset pick before falling at round Of 64 to Volunteers since Wisconsin Green Bay finished with 27 to 7 record.
Akron Zips.
They fell to Bluejays at battle Of midwest teams. It was sad for them but John Groce is doing great job with team, womens team had 11 to 18 record after finishing their season & MAC womens tournament winner Golden Flashes was 15 seed at womens march madness before losing to Fighting Irish at round Of 64 to finish with 21 to 11 record.
Morehead St Eagles.
Shellacking loss to Fighting Illini. That ended season which was fine 1 for east Kentucky univ, womens team had 15 to 15 record to kapow their season & Ohio Valley womens tournament representative (due to Ohio Valley womens tournament winner being ineligible for womens march madness) UT Martin Skyhawks lost badly to Holy Cross Crusaders as 16 seed at play in to end season with 16 to 17 record.
Colgate Raiders.
Lost humiliating game to Baylor Bears 3/22. Eventually Matt Langel will win march madness game, womens team had 19 to 13 record after beating Albany at 1st round Of wnit ok & Patriot League womens tournament winner Holy Cross Crusaders defeated UT Martin as 16 seed at play in then falling to Hawkeyes to finish with 21 to 13 record.
Long Beach St Beach.
Defeated by Arizona Wildcats at aforementioned game pitting Dan Monson against Tommy Lloyd who he placed for a job with Gonzaga, it's amazing Dan Monson was able to have winning seasons for most seasons at Beach & Beach are at hot temperature city. They played their hearts out at march madness game, womens team finished with 15 to 18 record, Big West womens tournament winner Anteaters were beat by Gonzaga when Anteaters were 13 seed to finish with 23 to 9 record & it's amazing Anteaters were able to do well.
Western KY Hilltoppers.
They lost but Steve Lutz was fine coach. They can do well next season because it'd be great for players, womens team finished with 15 to 17 record, program Of Hilltoppers womens basketball has won many womens march madness games in their history & C USA womens tournament winner Blue Raiders, who has player from Moscow, Russia named Anastasiia Boldyreva, had 30 to 4 record after beating Louisville as 11 seed at womens march madness round Of 64 which Blue Raiders got.
South Dakota St Jackrabbits.
They lost in game pitting Otzelberger with his current team against his former team & South Dakota is scenic state to live at. They can do well next year as well to help Brookings team & womens team was 12 seed at womens march madness who lost at round Of 64 to Utes to finish with 27 to 6 record.
St Peter's Peacocks.
Returned to march madness while not making the most Of it cuz shelled by Volunteers that game. It's sad for their fine fans, womens team finished with 7 to 23 record, Leedham their coach did relatively good this year & MAAC womens tournament winner Stags failed to capitalize as popular upset pick losing at round Of 64 in womens march madness as 13 seed to Hoosiers to finish with 31 to 2 record.
Longwood Lancers.
They didn't do well against Houston Cougars that game. Griff Aldrich is member Of Ryan Odom coaching tree since i hope he does well at Lancers, womens team finished with 9 to 21 record, Big South womens tournament winner Blue Hose defeated Sacred Heart as 16 seed at play in then falling to South Carolina Gamecocks to finish with 21 to 15 record.
Stetson Hatters.
Were beaten terribly by UConn Huskies, it was sad for their fine fans & that was all part Of college's 1st trip to mens march madness. We can see if Hatters continue to win next year, womens team had 17 to 15 record as its final record after losing to FIU Panthers at wnit & Atlantic Sun womens tournament winner FGCU Eagles lost in womens march madness round Of 64 when FGCU was 12 seed to Sooners to finish with 29 to 5 record.
Montana St Bobcats.
Lost to Grambling St Tigers at play in. They have steep challenges ahead for Matt Logie as he hopes to coach his boys next year, womens team finished with 17 to 16 record, Big Sky womens tournament winner Eastern Washington Eagles lost at womens march madness round Of 64 as 14 seed to Beavers to finish season with 29 to 6 record & Eastern Washington must be happy their womens basketball program made the field.
Grambling St Tigers.
They won a game in their 1st ever march madness appearance. That was swagtastic moment for them before the Louisiana school succumbed to Purdue Boilermakers at round Of 64, womens team had 23 to 9 record after beating Oral Roberts at wnit 1st round & SWAC womens tournament winner Jackson St Tigers lost at womens march madness round Of 64 when Jackson St was 14 seed to UConn Huskies to finish season with 26 to 7 record but eventually a 14 seed will win its 1st game against 3 seed at womens march madness, u just wait.
Howard Bison.
They lost close game to Wagner Seahawks at play in. It was sad for the Washington D.C. college, womens team finished with 15 to 16 record while making MEAC title game & MEAC womens tournament winner Norfolk St Spartans lost as 15 seed at round Of 64 at womens march madness to Stanford Cardinal to finish with 27 to 6 record.
Wagner Seahawks.
Defeated Howard at play in before losing to Tarheels & it's shame committee didn't pit Bobby Hurley & UConn Huskies against former school if Wagner Seahawks advanced. Staten Island univ did well this year, had upset over Merrimack at conference tournament, womens team had 7 to 21 record & Northeast womens tournament winner Sacred Heart lost closely to Blue Hose as 16 seed at play in to end with 24 to 10 record.
