287th post on this amazing blog. Blog gist will augur seeding. As blog tries to place teams by accurate parameters & teams who play with heart. Site called bracketaday.blogspot.com but not 1, but 4 brackets for march madness, nit, cbi & basketball classic which used to be called cit. Yet called bracketaday.blogspot.com due to technically 1 mm bracket daily plus other 3 tourneys I seed. Try my best to place teams by seeding (march madness & nit only) & location (march madness, nit, cbi & basketball classic).

Today I am listing 32 teams who made round Of 32, telling how they did & give little humor for some of those teams. Readers of this site, I hope u agree with my description of telling how they did.

Alabama Crimson Tide.

Defeated Maryland handily. Fine for university in rematch Of round Of 32 mens march madness game from 2 years ago/womens march madness game 2 years ago, womens team is in march madness where they were 10 seed falling to Baylor Bears at round Of 64 so Alabama Crimson Tide finished with 20 to 11 record & South Carolina Gamecocks who won SEC tournament championship for womens game got march madness bid where they were 1 seed romping past 8 seed USF at round Of 32 so South Carolina Gamecocks record currently is 36 to 0.

Houston Cougars.

Defeated Auburn for important win. They had comeback game against that team & womens team is not in march madness finished with 15 to 16 record yet involved in lots Of close games since they were an unlucky team this season which is why their record was worse than what their power was.

Kansas Jayhawks.

Beat by that rugged Razorbacks. That was loss which will always have * as Bill Self wasn't coaching & womens team is in wnit where they defeated Missouri at 2nd round as their record currently is 24 to 11.

UCLA Bruins.

Defeated Northwestern in battle between future Big 10 mates & Los Angeles against Chicago area school. That was fine win for storied mens program & womens team is in march madness where they were 4 seed defeating Oklahoma at round Of 32 as their record currently is 27 to 10.

Texas Longhorns.

Defeated Penn St to quell State College team's run. Was nonintense late night game & womens team is in march madness where they were 4 seed defeated by Louisville Cardinals at round Of 32 so Texas Longhorns finished with 26 to 10 record.

Marquette Golden Eagles.

Beat by Mich St Spartans. So protected seed went home & womens team is in march madness where they were 9 seed losing in overtime to USF Bulls at round Of 64 so Marquette Golden Eagles finished with 21 to 11 record.

Baylor Bears.

Beat by Bluejays then. Were outmaneuvered on both sides Of the ball & womens team is in march madness where they were 7 seed beaten by 2 seed UConn Huskies at round Of 32 so Baylor Bears finished with 20 to 13 record.

Gonzaga Bulldogs.

Defeated TCU for cool win. They held steady against purple opponent for 2nd game involving purple opponent in a row, womens team is in march madness where they were 9 seed losing to Ole Miss Rebels at round Of 64 so Bulldogs finished with 28 to 5 record & Pilots who won West Coast Conference tournament championship for womens game got march madness bid where they were 12 seed losing to Sooners at round Of 64 so Pilots finished with 23 to 9 record.

Kansas St Wildcats.

Defeated Kentucky, they overcame expectations as they had low kenpom for 3 seed & amazing they won round Of 32 game considering they had 1st year head coach. Thus Wildcats beat Kentucky in rematch Of mens march madness game from 5 years ago at this wildcats themed battle, womens team is in wnit where they defeated Wyoming at 2nd round as record currently is 19 to 17 but we didn't see future wnba draft player Ayoka Lee this season due to her season ending surgery at preseason sadly.

Xavier Musketeers.

Romped past Pitt. That was cool for them, corrupt Sean Miller defeated his alma mater, womens team is not in march madness finished with 7 to 23 record & Xavier fired its womens head coach.

UConn Huskies.

Defeated St Mary's then & there. Players like Adama Sanogo contributed to help them win, womens team is in march madness where they were 2 seed triumphing over Big XII team Baylor at round Of 32, won Big East tournament championship for womens game as they got march madness bid as their record currently is 31 to 6.

Tennessee Volunteers.

Defeated Duke at drubbing game. That game was lopsided since Volunteers have experienced coach but Duke has 1st year coach & womens team is in march madness where they were 4 seed defeating Toledo at round Of 32 as their record currently is 25 to 12.

Indiana Hoosiers.

Defeated by Hurricanes & Bloomington was distraught. Woodson thus has never been to sweet 16 as a head coach & womens team is in march madness where they were 1 seed losing to Hurricanes at round Of 32 so Indiana Hoosiers finished with 28 to 4 record.

San Diego St Aztecs.

Gave shellacking Of Furman & Aztecs got win again helping numb their earlier years because San Diego St has 1 Of the most tortured histories among d1 mens basketball programs. Cool they defeated opponent, womens team is in wnit where they were overwhelmed by Anteaters at 1st round so San Diego St Aztecs finished with 23 to 11 record & UNLV Rebels who won Mountain West tournament championship for womens game got march madness bid where they were 11 seed succumbing to Mich Wolverines at round Of 64 so UNLV Rebels finished with 31 to 3 record.

Duke Blue Devils.

Lost to Volunteers their border state opponent & that was sad. That was thus terrible loss & womens team is in march madness where they were 3 seed beaten by Buffaloes at overtime loss at round Of 32 so Duke Blue Devils finished with 26 to 7  record unlike last year where they collapsed from being ap poll ranked to missing march madness altogether & Hokies who won ACC tournament championship for womens game got march madness bid where they were 1 seed defeating South Dakota St at round Of 32 as their record currently is 31 to 4.

St Mary's Gaels.

Defeated by UConn Huskies. That was sad for Contra Costa county, St Mary's program is never going to forgive UConn Huskies for that loss, womens team is not in march madness finished with 13 to 18 record & they fired coach Paul Thomas after internal investigation was conducted at january.

Miami FL Hurricanes.

Defeated Indiana that round. Their experience therefore showed as they were victorious when 2 halves were over & womens team is in march madness where they were 9 seed defeating Indiana at round Of 32 as their record currently is 22 to 13.

Creighton Bluejays.

Defeated Baylor that round. Cool that talented players like Baylor Scheierman helped them in a rematch Of 9 years ago, committee however would have seen Clemson Tigers, not NC St, assuming Creighton place for that game as they'd have smashed Creighton since Tigers did better against teams with tall men like their wins against Duke & Pitt so if Tigers had been put in Tigers would have advanced to sweet 16 from their side instead Of how Creighton did & womens team is in march madness where they were 6 seed losing to MS St Bulldogs at round Of 64 so Creighton Bluejays finished with 22 to 9 record.

Kentucky Wildcats.

Beat by Kansas St Wildcats that round. So there is unrest at university Of Kentucky which means Calipari is closer to retiring due to the fanbase turning sour on him & womens team is not in march madness finished with 12 to 19 record.

TCU Horned Frogs.

Beat by Gonzaga Bulldogs that round & that was horrible to have. Therefore TCU lost to team which once had Tommy Lloyd on its staff again which didn't help matters & womens team is not in march madness finished with 8 to 23 record.

Mich St Spartans.

Defeated Marquette at close game on march 19 & Spartans who won many wars like peloponnesian war defeated Marquette having their birds Of prey team name. Their scrappy players won out over havoc defense which Marquette employs & womens team is not in march madness finished with 16 to 14 record while their coach resigned citing health was not fine for her.

Missouri Tigers.

 

Lost to Princeton Tigers. That means Missouri has 2 losses to march madness 15 seed in program history  & womens team is in wnit where they had shellacking loss to Jayhawks at 2nd round so Missouri Tigers finished with 18 to 14 record.

 

Northwestern Wildcats.

 

Beat by UCLA Bruins that round & that was uncool for them. Yet Chris Collins helped keep his job security by having fine regular season/postseason & womens team is not in march madness finished with 9 to 21 record.

 

Arkansas Razorbacks.

 

Defeated Kansas at that round & Eric Musselman took off his shirt at arena which is what i predicted would happen after they beat Kansas ok. Their talented players like Nick Smith contributed to their win & womens team is in wnit where they defeated Stephen F. Austin at 2nd round as their record currently is 24 to 13.

 

Maryland Terrapins.

 

Beat by Crimson Tide for tearful loss. Fell at Locklsey bowl & womens team is in march madness where they were 2 seed winning against Arizona at round Of 32 as their record currently is 28 to 7.

 

FAU Owls.

 

Defeated Fairleigh Dickinson, was cool they did & i believe Owls would have beat Purdue since Owls beat Fairleigh Dickinson Knights who beat Purdue. Boca Raton was poppin, womens team in not in march madness finished with 12 to 18 record & Blue Raiders who won C USA tournament championship for womens game got march madness bid where they were 11 seed failing against Buffaloes at round Of 64 so Middle TN St Blue Raiders finished with 28 to 5 record.

 

Auburn Tigers.

 

Beat by Houston Cougars so Bruce Pearl was distraught & it's cool there were many orange & blue regalia worn by fans at march madness arena at Birmingham. Had comeback loss & womens team is in wnit where they lost to swagtastic Clemson Tigers at 2nd round as their record currently is 16 to 15.

 

Penn St Nittany Lions.

 

Beat by Longhorns for predictable result & Funk did have amazing regular season/postseason. Nittany Lions weren't triumphant & womens team is not in march madness finished with 14 to 17 record.

Pitt Panthers.

Failed against Musketeers & that was terrible sight. So therefore Pitt went home & womens team is not in march madness finished with 10 to 20 record firing womens basketball coach which is reversal Of what u'd expect at beginning Of year because it was expected Capel would be the basketball coach fired at the end Of the season not their womens basketball coach.

Furman Paladins.

 

Defeated by Aztecs, was shellacking loss & distressful their cinderella run couldn't continue. Now which university hires Bob Richey for their opening is the next question, womens team is not in march madness finished with 11 to 19 record & Mocs who won Southern Conference tournament championship for womens game got march madness bid where they were 16 seed getting beat against Hokies at round Of 64 so Chattanooga Mocs finished with 20 to 13 record.

 

Princeton Tigers.

 

Defeated Missouri at upset & was biggest margin Of victory a 15 seed has had at march madness all time. That was way to honor Lew Carrill who died in august 2022 before this season even started as he'd definitely have been proud Of them for that round Of 32 win & womens team is in march madness where they were 10 seed falling to Utes at round Of 32 so Princeton Tigers finished with 24 to 6 record.

 

Fairleigh Dickinson Knights.

 

Defeated narrowly against FAU Owls, Teaneck didn't like this & a 16 seed has never advanced to sweet 16 all time. That was sad for them, womens team is in wnit going down to Columbia Lions at 1st round so Fairleigh Dickinson Knights finished with 24 to 8 record & Sacred Heart Pioneers who won Northeast tournament championship for womens game got march madness bid where they were 16 seed defeating Southern at 16 seed play in game before falling to 1 seed Stanford Cardinal at round Of 64 so Sacred Heart Pioneers finished with 19 to 14 record.

Going for nit, each # which is 16 & over corresponds to overall tournament seed but each Unseeded Team has no #s attached. E.g., 1. -> 1 overall nit seed while Unseeded Team doesn't -> any #. Going for cbi, each cbi # usually corresponds to teams with winning record at 2022 through 2023 season & will have lots Of teams at AAC, A 10, ACC, Big XII, Big East, Big 10, C USA, Mountain West, Pac 12 & SEC at college basketball. E.g., 4. would be team with fine winning record at conference alphabetically near top Of alphabet & 9. would be team with membership at conference alphabetically below above conferences. Going for basketball classic, each # usually corresponds to conference alphabetically. E.g., 5. would be team with best winning record remaining at conference alphabetically near top Of alphabet & 16. would be team with fine record at conference alphabetically below teams above it & there won't be any teams which come from AAC, A 10, ACC, Big XII, Big East, Big 10, C USA, Mountain West, Pac 12 & SEC because these conferences don't participate in basketball classic. Use footnotes when u're trying to decipher my seeding above. That's my tips. I followed the rules with regard to march madness & nit seeding & march madness, nit, cbi & basketball classic location.
