106th post on this amazing blog. Blog gist will augur seeding. As blog tries to place teams by accurate parameters & teams who play with heart. Site called bracketaday.blogspot.com but not 1, but 4 brackets for march madness, nit, cbi & cit. Yet called bracketaday.blogspot.com due to technically 1 mm bracket daily plus other 3 tourneys I seed. Try my best to place teams by seeding (march madness & nit only) & location (march madness, nit, cbi & cit).

Crimson Tide with player Delaney Herd Oak Hill High class of 2020 get the nod. His college was in an important game which changed history of college football forever & today is anniversary of that game.

We have an important day as it is anniversary of LSU Tigers vs Crimson Tide game. #1 LSU Tigers vs #2 Crimson Tide faced off. Cade Foster, the weakling kicker, playing for Alabama missed multiple field goals which would have made the difference in a game ending in 9 to 6 score. This game was terrible to watch. Crimson Tide got their revenge against LSU in shutout in national championship that postseason. But this game changed format for determining championship winner in fbs due to shutout in BCS. Went from 2 teams to 4 teams. However 2 teams field was stupid & I'm thankful along with most college basketball fans we don't have such a thing in college basketball to witness so we should be thankful college basketball didn't have stupid BCS 2 team field & that a terrible kicker can influence how postseason plays out as Crimson Tide had revenge on their mind in their BCS 2012 natty. Anyway here's about fbs level. Yep. Great games have been played in cfp throughout its history. Bad games have been played in cfp, like Ducks beating Florida St; all because Cade Foster couldn't kick a ball, like Crimson Tide beating Mich St; all because Cade Foster couldn't kick a ball, like Clemson Tigers beating Ohio St; all because Cade Foster couldn't kick a ball, like Clemson Tigers beating Notre Dame; all because Cade Foster couldn't kick a ball & like LSU Tigers beating Oklahoma; all because Cade Foster couldn't kick a ball. Due to butterfly effect, Cade Foster is the most important player in post 1997 college football history because he indirectly created cfp ok but in college basketball such a bad player in just 1 game will have less of an impact on title winner. This is then 1 of strengths college basketball has over fbs.

march madness.

I have a compunction about placing d1 teams which lost players due to injury, lost players due to transfer, suffer quad 3 or quad 4 losses, teams which get involved in transportation crashes (which are rare but horrible) or which suck in last several games they played: all conditions I mentioned thus means I won't place them as higher seeds. Those are bad. I have to congratulate d1 teams which gained players back from injury, gained players due to eligible transfer, achieve quad 1 or quad 2 wins, teams which don't get involved in transportation crashes or which excel in last several games they played: all conditions I mentioned thus means I will place them as higher seeds for march madness. Those are fine. Other thing to consider. I place the team with best win out of its conference as that conference autobid. So if a Missouri Valley team beats a #1 Kentucky Wildcats team, that Missouri Valley team will be placed as that conference autobid. Ok. This rule about team with best win out its conference as that conference autobid only applies in nonconference play when there are no conference standings to apply to d1. It only applies when team with best win out of its conference has winning record; so no losing record or .500 teams will be receiving autobid. This best win out of its conference rule is what makes me different from other bracketology sites. I believe if team has best win out of its conference then they can easily beat some weaker teams in their conference, win their conference tournament & get autobid that year. Thus for non power conferences any squad which has best win out of its conference can be seeded from 7 to 16, but they will still in my opinion be considered that conference's autobid. I don't think I'll do best conference record as autobid come conference play. I will probably do best overall record as autobid come conference play. Need to figure cbb things out. If u want me to do best conference record or want best overall record, leave a comment below. Currently, I plan on doing best overall record as autobid for march madness. For example say in 2021 through 2022 season,  Louisiana Tech Bulldogs have best overall record, but Mean Green have best conference record (this exact scenario actually happened in 2019 through 2020 season), then Louisiana Tech Bulldogs would be autobid for C USA. Reason I think this is because team with best overall record is likely the better team & definitely could beat team with best conference record in conference tourney ok. Those are 2 rules I have for putting 1 team as autobid. Thus be happy to see ur team do great & get autobid if scenarios come true. I enjoy making march madness seeds. That's all folks.

Please do note I have Boilermakers, Memphis Tigers, Auburn Tigers, Ducks, Tarheels & UConn Huskies ranked lower & other teams ranked higher than they were in AP poll for preseason this time around. That's because I put my own rankings into preseason for 68 teams in march madness, but I will have those underranked & overranked teams receiving spot according to their AP poll rankings in later posts. So don't get mad at my current rankings for those teams in these articles because those will be more in line with AP poll ratings soon. Multiple rankings in march madness will occur throughout this great preseason.

footnotes.

For my seeds, here's format to decipher them. I'll briefly explain. Going for march madness, each # corresponds to overall seed in tournament. For example, 1.-> 1 overall march madness seed. Going for nit, each # corresponds to overall seed in tournament. For example, 1. -> 1 overall nit seed. Going for cbi, each cbi # corresponds to only teams with winning record in 2021 through 2022 season & will be having lots of teams in AAC, A 10, ACC, Big XII, Big East, Big 10, C USA, Mountain West, Pac 12 & SEC in college basketball. For example 1. would be team with fine winning record in conference alphabetically at top of alphabet & 9. would be team with membership in conference alphabetically below above conferences. Going for cit, each number corresponds to conference alphabetically. For example 1. would be team with best winning record remaining in conference alphabetically at top of alphabet & 16. would be team with fine record in conference alphabetically below teams above it & there won't be any teams which come from AAC, A 10, ACC, Big XII, Big East, Big 10, C USA, Mountain West, Pac 12 & SEC because these conferences don't participate in cit. Use these footnotes when u're trying to decipher my seeding above. That's my tips. I followed the rules with regard to march madness & nit seeding & march madness, nit, cbi & cit location. So be fine with reading my number lists for 4 tournaments in d1.

comment policy.

I think u have comments waiting for me to respond to ok. I will, of course, read every comment which is pending moderation & hope u had important stuff to say. Getting to respond to ur comment(s) will be amazing for me. Will use blogspot commenting system for this website. If u were brought to this blog by 1 blog, website, forum, twitter tweet, facebook post, local TV broadcast etc. please tell me name of what brought u to this blog so I can read what that cbb person who enjoyed or criticized this blog said so I can figure out whether I agree with that person & give web address link, so ur comment can be approved by my pending moderation process, to what brought u so I can see original words they used for my bracketology, seeding & location. If u agree with what I typed, then say that u love what I wrote & tell me which parts. If u disagree with what I typed, then say that u aren't in favor, be polite & tell me which parts u aren't in favor. Be pithy or give rambling comment to what I typed. Length of what person comment doesn't matter to me. Some other things to note. Do not go off topic in ur comment e.g. talking about social studies if u currently are in high school. Tell me what school is ur favorite d1 team so I know if u are inclined to agree or disagree with my post. Do not call me evil, amateur, dumb or any insult if u aren't in favor what I wrote. Share link to any youtube video of any basketball or non basketball subject so I can see them. I am against comment that puts inappropriate content/video/image in response. U can also go ahead & go tell me what player(s) is/are ur favorite player(s). Allow u to post racist terms like chink since I'm against censorship, but I do not approve of being a racist personally. High school & college players u enjoy can have their highlights or profile posted in these below comments. It is ok to dislike another team, but it is forbidden for u to comment & call a team any insult which is overboard.  Can tell me what games in college basketball u are planning to watch tonight since this is college basketball blog. Will not allow u to comment by making fun of last place team in its conference ok. Will allow u to praise whatever team u think will be 1st place team in its conference ok. This blog is obviously regularly updated. After u submit comment, u need to check back within next 3 days so u can read my reply & then u are required to comment to my reply. I am excited to write on my blog. Go post comment.
