95th post on this amazing blog. Blog gist will augur seeding. As blog tries to place teams by accurate parameters & teams who play with heart. Site called bracketaday.blogspot.com but not 1, but 4 brackets for march madness, nit, cbi & cit. Yet called bracketaday.blogspot.com due to technically 1 mm bracket daily plus other 3 tourneys I seed. Try my best to place teams by seeding (march madness & nit only) & location (march madness, nit, cbi & cit).

Today I am listing 68 teams who made march madness field, telling how they did & give little humor for some of the teams. Readers of this site, I hope u agree with my description of telling how they did.

Gonzaga Bulldogs.

Bulldogs were expected to win against Norfolk St Spartans & they did. Corey Kispert, Jalen Suggs & Drew Timme are great trio based on their 1st round game.

Baylor Bears.

They beat Hartford Hawks like expected. Nothing much to say.

Illinois Fighting Illini.

This team beat a team 762.1 miles away from them. So team was great in regular season.

Mich Wolverines.

They are clicking on all cylinders like when they beat Texas Southern Tigers. Why would Juwan Howard want to leave them for the NBA. Let's hire a Mich Wolverines basketball coach for an NBA team. What could possibly go wrong.

Alabama Crimson Tide.

Maybe that Crimson Tide could win march madness based on their recent performance against Iona Gaels. National championship would mean Crimson Tide would join Gators as only schools to win championship in college football & mens basketball in same season.

Ohio St Buckeyes.

Jeopardy A: This school is going to be sitting on "THE" couch for rest of the NCAA tournament.

Jeopardy Q: What is THE Ohio State Buckeyes.

 Iowa Hawkeyes.

Hawkeyes easily beat Grand Canyon Antelopes. Luka Garza could become both a college basketball hall of famer & naismith basketball hall of famer.

Houston Cougars.

They did a shellacking to Cleveland St Vikings. Kelvin Sampson is like Geronimo, both Native American badasses.

Arkansas Razorbacks.

Razorbacks handled Colgate Raiders, great statistical team. Can they move further.

WVU Mountaineers.

Bob Huggins is known as a choker in the vein of the late Marty Schottenheimer, but vs Morehead St Eagles, he didn't choke. His defense of his teams is fun to watch.

Texas Longhorns.

Texas didn't do well against Abilene Christian Wildcats. But to want Smart fired is pure idiocy.

Kansas Jayhawks.

Last year they could have been #1 overall seed, but against Eastern WA Eagles, they were behind. This team has a lot of catching up to do if they want to add a title to school's storied program.

Florida St Seminoles.

This team is like Seminoles they're named after: fierce. They were in close game with UNCG Spartans but ultimately beat them.

Purdue Boilermakers.

Purdue loss to Mean Green means Indiana Hoosiers fans bust out the lotion. This loss wasn't unpredictable when u realized Purdue Boilermakers were in many close games throughout regular season.

OK St Cowboys.

Cowboys did well against Liberty Flames with Cade Cunningham being a star. NBA scouts must have loved what they saw watching from TV.

Virginia Cavaliers.

They choked again. This Ohio Bobcats loss will be temporary in the minds of the freshman, sophomores & juniors on Virginia Cavaliers squad.

Creighton Bluejays.

McDermott hasn't made in past 1st weekend or to sweet 16 but his team did beat UCSB Gauchos. Fine for them.

Villanova Wildcats.

Many thought, including me, Winthrop Eagles would upset Villanova Wildcats: that didn't happen. This storied program added 1 more march madness win.

Tennessee Volunteers.

Tennessee lost to Beavers. Now they can go eat at McDonald's on their return trip back.

Colorado Buffaloes.

Buffaloes did a shellacking to Georgetown Hoyas. Great team they have this year.

USC Trojans.

They beat good Drake Bulldogs team, which was receiving AP poll votes earlier in season, ok. Dunk City seems to be in fruition.

Texas Tech Red Raiders.

In the Matt Wells bowl, Red Raiders beat their current football coach's employer Utah St Aggies easily. This team with great stats is awesome.

BYU Cougars.

BYU fans haven't been this sad since their 4th wife refused to make them a sandwich. Though there's no that much shame in losing to UCLA Bruins, storied program.

San Diego St Aztecs.

Last year, they would have been a 2 seed: this year they were a 6 seed which got bounced out in round of 64 to Orange. Brian Dutcher can bring this team to being great next year.

Oregon Ducks.

Got through due to a forfeit from VCU Rams. I won't write much about them.

UConn Huskies.

In a game most saw coming, UConn Huskies which was bad without Bouknight, lost by 9 points to Terrapins down the shoreline. This team needed to be built better & not just have 1 great player cuz that's what caused UConn Huskies to falter.

Clemson Tigers.

They played it close against Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Unfortunately, they lost but at least Clemson Tigers hasn't hired a coach who throws balls at players.

Florida Gators.

This team went into overtime against Virginia Tech. Chomp, chomp.

LSU Tigers.

They beat St Bonaventure Bonnies by double digits. We will see if they can win march madness 1 season after winning college football national championship ok.

Loyola Chicago Ramblers.

This team beat Georgia Tech, which was relatively weak for an ACC tournament champion. Sister Jean magic continues.

North Carolina Tarheels.

Roy Williams never lost in round of 64 before Wisconsin Badgers game occurred. Legend for a coach to ever be undefeated & Roy Williams is a legend almost all college basketball fans cherish seeing on sidelines.

Oklahoma Sooners.

They got past Missouri Tigers. Now the meat grinder of Gonzaga Bulldogs awaits.

Missouri Tigers.

Do not show ur faces in Kansas St Wildcats territory again, Missouri Tigers fans. They lost to Oklahoma Sooners who lost to Kansas St Wildcats who lost to D2 Ft Hays St Tigers who finished 11-11 this season so Missouri Tigers has a transitive loss to D2 Ft Hays St Tigers.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

A relatively weak ACC tournament champion lost to Loyola Chicago Ramblers. I'm not shocked.

Wisconsin Badgers.

They beat Roy Williams & North Carolina Tarheels. I'm sure the cheeseheads liked that win.

St Bonaventure Bonnies.

They lost to LSU Tigers but Bonnies should feel proud of themselves cuz they won A 10 conference tournament this season & Mark Schmidt will continue to excel until he gets poached but enjoy him continue to excel. Their team is well built for the future.

Maryland Terrapins.

Terrapins beat a team which was bad without its Bouknight, their only great player. Next time, their fans see UConn Huskies fans on the street on the street they have something to gloat about.

Virginia Tech Hokies.

They were seeded too low & should have been a 6 & the way they took Florida Gators into overtime was exciting for mens college basketball fans. Let's see what their former Wofford Terriers coach does next year.

VCU Rams.

Unfortunately coronavirus caused a forfeit against Oregon Ducks this season but I will have them as a 10 seed in next year's bracketology. Get better VCU Rams players.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

This team won a close game against Clemson Tigers. Ron Harper Jr will play well next year.

Syracuse Orange.

Some thought they shouldn't be there. However they proved their doubters wrong by beating San Diego St Aztecs.

Utah St Aggies.

Xavier Musketeers could have been a team to be in this spot instead as Utah St Aggies looked woefully unprepared against Texas Tech Red Raiders in round of 64. Let's wonder what will happen on their road trip back to Logan.

 Mich St Spartans.

Izzo's temper was a bigger star than most of their players as they lost to UCLA Bruins. They probably will get more production next year.

UCLA Bruins.

Bald of awesome Mick Cronin does a victory. After beating Mich St Spartans, what else can he do.

Wichita St Shockers.

They lost close game against Drake Bulldogs. However their coach seems committed to keeping Wichita St Shockers great ok.

Drake Bulldogs.

They won close game against Wichita St Shockers. Drake Bulldogs hadn't won march madness game in 50 years or since 1971 when disco wasn't dead.

Oregon St Beavers.

This team beat Tennessee Volunteers. Oregon St Beavers hadn't won march madness game in 39 years or since 1982 when people had awesome puffy hair.

Georgetown Hoyas.

Georgetown got a shellacking to Colorado Buffaloes. Still Patrick Ewing did better than expected ok.

Winthrop Eagles.

They couldn't pull off upset against Villanova Wildcats. But Winthrop Eagles should enjoy this jubilation of 1 loss season because Pat Kelsey is going to get poached but will leave behind good legacy.

UCSB Gauchos.

They had a off the rim miss which caused them to lose against Creighton Bluejays. However they will be good next year.

Ohio Bobcats.

Bobcats upset Virginia Cavaliers which means we won't have a defending national champion repeating ok. Their fierce logo is cool too.

North Texas Mean Green.

Mean Green upset Purdue Boilermakers. They must be feeling pretty good.

Liberty Flames.

Everyone's favorite online bible study school played like the Phillistines against Samson when they played against OK St Cowboys.  They didn't do well this tournaments, sadly for them & their fans.

UNCG Spartans.

UNCG lost against Florida St Seminoles like expected. But I don't have that team as Southern Conference autobid next year & have Chattanooga Mocs for it.

Abilene Christian Wildcats.

This team upset Texas this tournament in close game. It's a shame Abilene Christian Wildcats, Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks, Sam Houston St Bearkats, Lamar Cardinals & Southern Utah Thunderbirds are joining WAC next year cuz we'll be deprived of seeing fun Abilene Christian Wildcats mens basketball in Southland.

Morehead St Eagles.

They lost to WVU Mountaineers this postseason. I hope these Eagles soar high next year.

Colgate Raiders.

Lost by 17 points to Razorbacks. But they had top 10 NET which is something to be proud of.

Eastern WA Eagles.

For their game, they almost upset Kansas Jayhawks. Their cool logo with EWU letters embedded in eagle logo is as cool as their play.

Grand Canyon Antelopes.

Private, Christian, Slayed. That will be their new slogan until college basketball season starts again.

Cleveland St Vikings.

Cleveland St got a shellacking against Houston Cougars. This game wasn't fun to watch.

Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.

Golden Eagles & coach Paul Mills had great win against Ohio St on 3/19. This is bright moment of players' lives.

Iona Gaels.

They lost to Crimson Tide after Gaels had great performance in MAAC tournament. They will be in top half of conference standings next year if most of their players don't get injured at any all.

 Drexel Dragons.

Philadelphia team Drexel Dragons had great loss against Illinois Fighting Illini. Fans deserve to pat themselves on the back for supporting this team.

Hartford Hawks.

They lost to Baylor Bears. America East championship winner will retool next year if they want to make any of the 4 postseason mens college basketball tournaments next year.

Mt St Mary's Mountaineers.

Most people didn't think Mt St Mary's Mountaineers would play in a higher level tournament than St Mary's Gaels when this season started but they did.  Upon entering tournament they lost to Texas Southern Tigers, but this was fine season for Mt St Mary's Mountaineers.

Texas Southern Tigers.

Tigers win is no surprise to me as they beat the only 2 undefeated in conference play teams in SWAC tournament this year before their 1st 4 win to Mt St Mary's Mountaineers & loss to Mich Wolverines. Texas Southern Tigers put itself on the non power conference map & interestingly both HBCU schools in march madness won their 1st game.

Norfolk St Spartans.

This team beat App St Mountaineers before their loss to Gonzaga Bulldogs. Cool costumed mascot they have is a funny dude on the sidelines.

App St Mountaineers.

They lost to Norfolk St Spartans but had great regular season end with them winning 1st ever Sun Belt conference tournament. Readers on this site should know this team will be great next year as well.

footnotes.

For my seeds, format to decipher them. Briefly explain. Going for march madness, each # corresponds to overall seed. For example, 1.-> 1 overall march madness seed. Going for nit, each #  corresponds to overall seed. For example, 1. -> 1 overall nit seed. Going for cbi, each # corresponds to if team had winning or .500 record 2019 through 2020 season & how great their conference was in 2019 through 2020 season, but once regular season actually starts, each cbi # corresponds to only teams which have winning record 2020 through 2021 season & how great their conference will be in 2020 through 2021 season. For example 1. would be team with fine winning record in fine conference & 9. would be team with not as fine winning record & who plays in not as fine conference as teams above it. Going for cit, each number corresponds to best overall record in list & how great their conference was in 2019 through 2020 season or will be in 2020 through 2021 season. For example 1. would be best winning record team in best conference of eligible conferences & 16. would be not as fine winning record team in not as fine conference as teams above it. Use these footnotes when to try to decipher my seeding above. That's my tips. I followed the rules with regard to march madness & nit seeding & march madness, nit, cbi & cit location. So be fine with reading my number lists for 4 tournaments in d1.
